What is Cigarpilot and what can I use the app for?

With Cigarpilot, you can manage and rate your cigars, connect with friends, and have your personal cigar assistant always with you. It helps you find shops and lounges and knows exactly when, how often, and where you’ve smoked which cigar – all with your rating. Cigarpilot probably knows your taste better than you do!

On which platforms is Cigarpilot available (iOS/Android)?

You can use Cigarpilot through your internet browser or install it as an app. All common platforms are supported. Due to restrictions on tobacco apps, Cigarpilot is not available in the stores but can be installed directly via app.cigarpilot.com.

What are the requirements for using Cigarpilot?

In which currencies and for which countries is Cigarpilot available?

Cigarpilot supports all countries and currencies worldwide. It’s the perfect companion for travelers. All prices are always converted to your current currency.

Are there any usage restrictions, e.g., regional or linguistic?

There are no restrictions. On the contrary, Cigarpilot can adapt to your current region and show you regional cigar brands and locations. Some cigars are found under different names in different regions. Cigarpilot can handle this and always displays the correct names. Cigarpilot is available in English and German. Other languages will follow shortly.

Can I buy cigars or place orders through Cigarpilot?

No. Cigarpilot is not an online shop. Cigars are not sold. However, you will find links to manufacturers and online shops. Simply search for your desired cigar and click on the links.

Is there a guide for beginners?

The app includes a comprehensive help function with numerous tours that show you everything. Simply click on the question mark icon in the top right corner of the app if you’re unsure or need tips.

What happens when I change devices or reinstall the app?

No problem. Some display settings are saved on your device. You will need to set these again. All important data is securely stored on our server and will not be lost.

Can I export my data or transfer it to another system?

Yes. In the paid Gold membership, you can download an export as a CSV file at any time. This file can be opened in all common office tools.

How secure is my data?

All data is securely stored on our servers and protected from unauthorized access. Only what you share can be viewed by others (friends, groups, or publicly). No personal data is shared with third parties. For more details, please refer to our Privacy Policy.

Which cigar brands are included in the database?

All major and many regionally known brands are included. New ones are added daily. Anyone can add new brands, series, and cigars if something is missing. You can rate everything anytime. Directly. No waiting times.
